About Hannah

Hannah McWhorter is the Senior Marketing Manager at OfferingTree. Alongside that work, she is involved in the non-profit space.

Since 2021 she has been part of Sagely College Advising, which helps disadvantaged students get into top colleges through free mentoring, essay advising, and scholarship application support. Hannah joined as Treasurer on the Board of Directors, then moved into the Marketing Director role in 2022, where she remains.

She got the version of the job most marketers never get. Sagely was a brand-new organization, so there was no brand, no channel mix, no reporting, and very little budget. Hannah worked directly with the Board and stakeholders to create the marketing strategy from the ground up, and advised the organization on project management strategy and tooling as it grew — the unglamorous infrastructure work that decides whether a small organization can actually execute or merely keeps meaning to.

That constraint turns out to be a useful teacher. When there is no budget, every result has to be earned rather than bought, and a channel either produces something measurable or it does not survive the quarter. It is a large part of why Hannah works the way she does: obsessive about data and analytics, comfortable wearing several hats at once, and more interested in what a program actually returned than in how busy it looked.

She has also volunteered with Quarry Hill Nature Center, supporting rentals, general education programming, and upkeep.

At OfferingTree, Hannah owns content strategy and SEO for a platform built for independent wellness professionals — small operators working under most of the same constraints she knows from Sagely: limited time, limited budget, and no marketing department to hand anything off to. Before OfferingTree she led marketing at Points North, ran ecommerce and content marketing at Lively Root, and founded her own content agency, Charming Chickadee Content Creation.

Hannah is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
